Change Discussion

The challenge for me was to refrain from using the word change in the entire workshop.

Substitute words - transformation, transition, and development over the years. One activity which was very powerful was visual displays - so I got them to do three sets of drawing on a flip chart paper drawing the living conditions in the 1960s, 1970s,etc.. to-date. Give them crayons, markers to make it as vibrant possible. Once the drawings are completed, paste them on the wall and get them to talk about the reasons these for this transformation - and then it becomes plainly obvious - we're all part of an ecological system. Factors around the whole world have made our working environment different that we need to do something to ourselves so that we can remain relevant.
